Welcome to Oklahoma City Community Foundation
Legacy Giving

Thank you for your interest in the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Since 1969 we have worked with donors and their professional advisors to create charitable giving plans that benefits the donors and the community.  Please contact us at 405/235-5603 with any questions or if you need additional information.

Meet our Donors
We offer a variety of giving options that meet almost anyone's charitable and financial goals.  A number of the donors featured in these stories not only enjoyed increased life income but also generous tax savings.  To learn more about how these donors made charitable giving a part of their estate plans, please click on the picture.

A Passion for Art Lives On Through a Bequest
As a child, Roberta Eldridge Miller developed a deep passion for art, and from her father, a wealthy businessman, she learned the importance of giving back to the community. These two factors would influence Mrs. Miller's charitable giving throughout her life, ultimately supporting the arts through a bequest in her estate. Helping Others Through a Charitable Gift Annuity
Viola "Vi" Wild's love of helping others was a central theme throughout her life. Through a Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) she established at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, she will continue to help others even after her death. More on Helping Others Through a Charitable Gift Annuity >>.

Supporting Medical Research through a Bequest
Having survived polio as a child, Robert Herring knew well the importance of medical research. And that's why he left a significant bequest to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation with specific instructions that it be used to support medical research related to Parkinson?s disease and genetic disorders. Honoring a Family
It was apparent that family meant a great deal to Mary McKean Meier. Her first and only visit to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation offices was on a rainy afternoon in 1993 when she brought a personal check to establish a fund in memory of a brother who was killed during World War II. Upon her death in 2004, she left the entirety of her estate to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and requested that funds be established in honor and memory of several family members.
